Refer a caregiver
With just a few clicks, you can refer a caregiver to professionals who will listen to their needs and suggest solutions adapted to their situation.
Information ReferralRéférence Aidance Québec emerged from a number of collaboration and referral agreements signed during phases 1 and 2 of the Québec Alzheimer Plan. These agreements were supported by the local and regional entities of the major partners.
Referring caregivers means offering them essential support through:
- An easy-to-use tool: you fill in a short online form (“Caregiver’s contact details and their needs”). You submit your request online, and that’s it!
- An effective tool: caregivers are contacted within 10 business days by a professional advisory team, the Caregiver Support Helpline service, or the Federation of Quebec Alzheimer Societies.
- A tool that meets the needs of caregivers and helps them find resources to make their day-to-day lives easier, if possible, at the start of the journey.
- A secure tool: information is transmitted to partner organizations in compliance with confidentiality rules.
- A tool aligned with the Act to Recognize and Support Caregivers, the National Policy, and the Government Action Plan to Recognize and Support Caregivers 2021–2026, designed to provide caregivers with support as early as possible in their caregiving journey.
- A tool used throughout Quebec.
